Gameloft showed the Enchanted Pirate Ship from The Keepsake Sea expansion at the Disney Dreamlight Valley 2026 Showcase, with a feature walkthrough from the show’s hosts and a second look during the live playthrough near the end of the stream. The ship is not a menu shortcut: players earn it as they progress through the expansion’s story.

“Every great sea adventure needs a ship,” one host said, adding that the ship unlocks “a brand new way to explore” The Keepsake Sea. Players sail it between destinations across the expansion, out on open water, and some areas can only be reached by boat.
The Captain’s Cabin
Below deck sits the Captain’s Cabin, a personal space that works like a room in the player’s house, so it can be fully decorated and customized. The footage showed a cabin dressed with a fish skeleton, ship paintings, a cannon and a pirate captain’s portrait. The ship also carries crafting, cooking and storage, which according to the hosts makes it easy to prepare for the next voyage without returning to shore. It also has its own dedicated photo mode.

Crew, flags and repairs
The playthrough hosts, Allysia and Vi from Gameloft, picked the ship up again after meeting Captain Jack Sparrow. The ship first has to be repaired before it can head back out to sea, and Jack is the one who teaches the player. “Who better to teach them than Captain Jack Sparrow,” they said. The ship is also needed to reach a far away kingdom tied to a message the player receives at the start of the expansion’s story.
Besides exploring new land, the ship helps salvage lost treasure. Players can crew it with four Disney and Pixar villagers and customize its flag. A Boat Customization menu on screen listed the skin, sail and flag as separate parts, alongside slots for crew members. Earlier footage showed Jack Skellington and Goofy posing on deck in front of a red and yellow spotted sail, and a flag being decorated with a large green eye design.

Twitch viewers can earn the Sea Witch Ship, a Dream Style for the player’s Pirate Ship, as a Twitch Drop on participating creators’ channels from November 18, the day The Keepsake Sea launches.
The stream did not say how far into the story the ship unlocks, whether crew members give any bonus beyond appearance, or how many ship styles are available at launch.

Still unanswered
- How far into the story does the ship unlock?
