The Arcade Crew and solo developer Regal Pigeon Games released a Steam demo for Chivalware, a roguelite that blends grid-based combat with tile-matching mechanics. The game launches on PC this fall.

The demo gives access to three of the game’s five playable characters: The Disk Knight, The Tank Knight, and The Jester Knight. Players can try over half of Chivalware’s 80 floppy disk-based weapons, plus more than 150 available upgrades. The demo includes two of the game’s four biomes and new challenge levels.

Chivalware casts you as a Disk Knight in a cyber-medieval world. You match tiles on the battlefield in sets of three to earn and equip new weapons while dodging real-time attacks in a grid-based arena. The game uses permanent unlocks to let you evolve playable characters and weapons across runs.

Regal Pigeon Games previously released debut title Neophyte on Steam in 2022.
