Queen’s Domain Endings: All Four Endings and How to Unlock Each

Queen’s Domain screenshot

The short answer

Ending 1
Most Unfortunate. Beat Queen Siraatsu without either special sword doing the work. This is the ending most players see first.
Ending 2
A Kingdom Free From Darkness. Reforge Endu into the True Holy Sword Akunra and use it against Siraatsu. To be safe, do most of the damage and the final blow with it.
Ending 3
God Slayer. Collect eight mementos with the Memento Mirror, forge Okbujo’s Judgement, and use it for the whole final fight. At the end, choose Banish.
Ending 4
Eat. Hand all 69 Strange Silver Etched Skulls to the door under the Petrified Garden, take part in the ritual, then repeat Ending 3 and choose Eat instead of Banish.

Every ending is played out on one save. Nothing locks you out after the credits.

All four endings come from the same final fight on one save

Queen’s Domain has four ending achievements among its 53, and all four are decided at the same place: the fight with Queen Siraatsu at the end of the game. What changes is the sword you bring and, for the last two, a choice you make after the fight.

You do not need a new game. Players who have all four agree that nothing in the game ends your save file. After the credits you carry on exploring, finish what you missed, and go back for the next ending. Beating Siraatsu the first time is actually a step toward the others, so there is no reason to delay it.

The developer has not published the ending conditions. What follows is what players who unlocked each ending on Steam have reported, cross-checked against each other and against the achievement list. Where they disagree, we say so.

EndingAchievementKey requirementSteam players with it
Ending 1Most UnfortunateDefeat Queen SiraatsuAbout 6%
Ending 2A Kingdom Free From DarknessTrue Holy Sword AkunraAbout 3%
Ending 3God SlayerOkbujo’s Judgement, choose BanishAbout 1.6%
Ending 4Eat69 silver skulls, ritual, choose EatUnder 1%

The percentages are Steam’s global figures in the first week after launch, and they will climb. They do show how steep the curve is: the step from Ending 1 to Ending 3 is most of the optional game.

Ending 1 needs nothing but a win against Queen Siraatsu

Most Unfortunate (“Saw Ending 1”) is the default. Reach Siraatsu Castle, which pops Halls of Hatred, fight through it, and beat Queen Siraatsu with whatever you like. If neither Akunra nor Okbujo’s Judgement carried the fight, this is the ending you get.

One player reports the castle’s central gate stays shut until you beat the three bosses inside, so clear those first if the way to the queen will not open. If you want Ending 2 on your first credits instead, stop before the castle and do the Akunra steps below first. There is no penalty for seeing Ending 1 first, though, and many players do.

Ending 2 needs the True Holy Sword Akunra in the final fight

A Kingdom Free From Darkness is tied to Akunra, the reforged version of the Holy Sword Endu you get at the shrine near the start. Getting it is a project of its own:

  1. Fully upgrade Endu

If Endu is not at full strength, the altar tells you the bond is not strong enough and refuses the reforge.

  2. Clear all eight Sipeha seals

Eight seated Sipeha statues around the island carry seals you reveal with the Mask of Second Sight. Several need lenses, and one player notes you need at least three of the gods’ lenses to reach the place where the sword evolves. Every location is in our Storm Gem and statues guide.

  3. Reforge at the Temple of Puwema

The eight seals open the Temple of Puwema at the top of Verdant Hollow. Walk through it to the purification altar and Endu becomes Akunra. That pops Blade Bathed in Holy Light.

  4. Use Akunra on Siraatsu

Players disagree on how much. One says Akunra must do at least half the damage; another says it must do the most damage and land the final blow. A third player got Ending 2 after using a launcher for most of the fight and swinging Akunra about twice. The safe play: use Akunra for the whole fight and finish her with it.

Akunra also opens a back way into the memento altar used for Ending 3, so it is worth getting even if you are aiming past Ending 2.

Ending 3 needs Okbujo’s Judgement, forged from eight mementos

God Slayer is where the side content stops being optional. The sword it needs, Okbujo’s Judgement (the Most Spiritual Sword achievement), is forged from eight mementos, and each memento is the final reward of a character’s quest line. Three players who reported this ending each tied it to the same chain.

Which sword you bring to the last fight decides most of the four endings.

Step 1: get the Memento Mirror

Beat the Herald of Okbujo in the Record of Sin and talk to it afterward. It gives you the Memento Mirror, which lets you speak to the ghosts of characters who have passed on.

Step 2: finish the eight quests and collect the mementos

A ghost only hands over its memento once its quest is done and the character has moved on. Players list these eight:

CharacterWhat they need firstLinked achievement
Chef Gagi60 meal tickets, found under food plattersBirds of a Feather
Captain AganmiLearn his crew’s fate, bring back their necklaces and tell himFate of the Iryupe Raiders
Erma, Matron of the DeepEvery Orbewa eggSacred Waters
Mechanical Engineer OssiAll of his modulesWise Work
Knowledge Keeper WourhaA complete BestiaryA Lifetime’s Work
The King, your fatherFind his ghostNone
The knight from the startThe one who gave you a sword on the first beachNone
PehaShe gave you the Puwema lens; look for her at her coffinNone

The Bestiary is the slow one. One player put the requirement at 99.9 percent, so expect to hunt down rare enemies, including the ones that only appear when you wake the Petrified Garden.

Step 3: forge the sword at the hidden mausoleum altar

The altar is in Deimpo Mausoleum, behind a hidden door on the lower level of the big red water room that holds a Wind Gem. The room has four symbols on the wall, and the door needs all four lenses in the Mask of Second Sight. One player hit a bug where the top symbol would not respond and got in through a back entrance below the Tower of Knowledge near the prison, which needs Akunra.

Step 4: beat Siraatsu with it and choose Banish

Use Okbujo’s Judgement for the whole fight. Players again disagree on the exact threshold, from half the damage to every hit, so do not switch weapons. When the game offers the choice at the end, pick Banish for God Slayer. The other option is Ending 4, which only works once the skull ritual is done.

Ending 4 needs all 69 silver skulls and the ritual first

Eat is the rarest ending and the only one whose achievement text gives nothing away. Players who unlocked it describe this route:

  1. Open the way to the skull door

The door is under the Petrified Garden. Reaching it needs all five trident keys and all four lenses. Wake the garden at the central fountain, hit the glowing fish statues three or four times each, activate the symbols, then drop down into one of the houses.

  2. Hand in every Strange Silver Etched Skull

There are 69. The door takes them in batches and pays out along the way, a duck figurine at around 10 and a fossil accessory that lets you float upward at around 30. There is no counter for how many you have handed in, so keep your own tally. Some skulls need the final Wind Gem dash upgrade, and some sit far off the beaten path.

  3. Trigger the ritual

After the last skull, the door’s dialogue talks about preparing for a ritual. Several players found the door did not open straight away: rest and reload the area, then come back.

  4. Repeat Ending 3 and choose Eat

With the ritual done, fight Siraatsu again with Okbujo’s Judgement and pick Eat instead of Banish.

The ritual step is the thinnest part of the reporting. Two players describe the same door, the 69 skull count and replaying Ending 3, and the Eat choice matches the achievement’s name, but nobody has posted the ritual itself in detail yet. If your door stays shut with what you think is all 69, you are most likely a skull or two short.

Queen’s Domain takes 40 hours or more, and all four endings take most of the 100%

Freshly Baked Games said before launch that for the vast majority of players Queen’s Domain would be “at the very least a 40+ hour experience.” Player reports line up with that. Players posting progress in the first days were around halfway through the island’s ten areas at 10 to 16 hours, so a careful first run to Ending 1 lands in the 20 to 40 hour range depending on how much you explore.

  • Ending 1: a focused run, roughly 20 hours at the fast end.
  • Ending 2: add the eight Sipeha seals and a maxed Endu.
  • Endings 3 and 4: close to full completion. You need every character quest, an almost complete Bestiary, all lenses, all trident keys and all 69 skulls. One player estimates 60 to 80 hours for 100 percent.

If you are still early, our progression route gets you from the beach to the mausoleum, and the best early weapons guide covers what to carry on the way.

The Necronomicon falls long before the endgame. The ending requirements pile up after it.

The fastest order is Ending 1, then 2, then 3, then 4

  • Beat Siraatsu early for Ending 1. Players report that beating her is needed to unlock the other endings, and your save carries on afterward.
  • Get Akunra next. It gives you Ending 2 and a second way into the memento altar.
  • Run the character quests and the skull hunt at the same time. Both send you to every corner of the map, and the skull door and memento altar both need all four lenses.
  • Do Ending 3 before the ritual if you want to be safe. Pick Banish, take God Slayer, then finish the skulls and come back for Eat.

FAQ

How many endings does Queen’s Domain have?

Four: Most Unfortunate, A Kingdom Free From Darkness, God Slayer and Eat. Each has its own achievement.

How do I get Ending 3 in Queen’s Domain?

Get the Memento Mirror from the Herald of Okbujo, finish the eight character quests, collect their mementos, forge Okbujo’s Judgement at the hidden altar in Deimpo Mausoleum, then beat Queen Siraatsu with it and choose Banish.

Do I need a new game for other endings?

No. Your save continues after the credits, and players report going back for the next ending on the same file.

What is the true ending?

The game does not label one. Ending 4, Eat, is the rarest and needs the most work, so many players treat it as the final one.

How long does it take to beat Queen’s Domain?

The developer says 40 hours or more for most players. A focused run to the first ending takes roughly 20 hours or more, and all four endings need close to 100 percent completion.

How many silver skulls are there?

69. Hand them all to the door under the Petrified Garden. There is no counter, so track them yourself.
