Krafton has announced the first closed beta test for PUBG: DED.NET, beginning October 9 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in the United States and Canada. The test runs through October 12 at 10 a.m. PT.

PUBG: DED.NET is a free-to-play multiplayer FPS set in Cascadia, a fictional 1996 Pacific Northwest region. The game combines traditional shooter combat with roguelite progression, where abilities and injuries carry over between matches within a run, creating what the studio calls new tactical choices as players develop their characters.

Players ages 17 and older with PlayStation Network or Xbox accounts can sign up at ded.net, though access is limited and registration does not guarantee selection. Accepted participants can invite friends to squad up together. Krafton is structuring the test as an active development phase, with player feedback submitted through in-game surveys and the official Discord feeding directly into ongoing development.

While this beta is limited to North America, Krafton plans to expand testing to additional regions with details announced later. Players outside North America can register now to be ready for future testing in their region.
