OFF BOX Studios released a gameplay trailer for FLING UP TOGETHER, a 2-player co-op physics platformer where two players are bound by one rope they must use to pull and fling each other up vertical levels. A free demo is available now on Steam, with the full game coming later.

The rope serves as an active tool rather than a passive tether. Players can launch teammates across gaps, catch them mid-fall, or tank an entire run with a mistimed pull. Since anyone can pull at any moment, every rescue and disaster becomes a shared story with a clear author.

Color-coded platforms add another layer of interdependence. Each player can only stand on platforms matching their colour, forcing one player to open a route and then physically haul their partner across it with the rope. One player’s fall resets all progress for both, creating tension that the studio says manufactures “communication and payoff automatically.”

According to OFF BOX Studios, the rope mechanic prevents autopiloting through co-op. “You’re constantly deciding their fate and they’re deciding yours. That’s where all the shouting and the laughing comes from,” said Ammar at the studio.

Sessions swing between careful coordination and total collapse. Ragdoll physics and silly characters keep failures funny rather than punishing. Each playthrough is different, built to be watched as much as played.

FLING UP TOGETHER is OFF BOX Studios’ debut title. The studio was recently selected for NEOM’s Level Up gaming accelerator.
