Denshattack!, the train-based action game from developer Undercoders and publisher Fireshine Games, has sold over 150,000 copies and attracted more than 300,000 players since its July launch on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 5.
The game holds a 98% positive user review score on Steam and an 88 aggregate score on Metacritic, according to Fireshine Games. It’s priced at $19.99 on Steam.
Denshattack! tasks players with becoming the greatest train driver in Japan by competing in over-the-top battles across 60+ stages. The game blends racing, trick mechanics, and boss fights set in a vibrant dystopian future. Its soundtrack features composers including Tee Lopes (Sonic Mania), Ryo Nagamatsu (Splatoon series), and Richard Jacques (Jet Set Radio series).
Fireshine Games said the title “delivers a fearless, bold celebration of classic video game fun that went above and beyond expectations this summer.” Since launch, Undercoders has released updates with new challenges and unlockables, with plans for larger content updates coming in the following months.
