Denshattack!, a skateboarding-meets-trains indie game from publisher Fireshine Games and developer Undercoders, is out now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC for $19.99. The game is available day one on Game Pass.
Players compete in over 60 stages across Japan, performing tricks and racing while driving a train. The game features missions including racing, tricking, and boss fights against rival gangs. According to the studio, the game draws inspiration from Y2K-era games and anime like Jet Set Radio, One Piece, and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.
The soundtrack features Tee Lopes (Sonic Mania, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge) alongside guest composers including Ryo Nagamatsu (Splatoon series, Mario Kart series), Richard Jacques (Jet Set Radio series), and Takenobu Mitsuyoshi (Daytona USA, Sega Rally Championship). The soundtrack is available for purchase on Steam and streaming platforms.
For the next two weeks, Steam players can grab a 10 percent launch discount. Console players have access to platform-exclusive cosmetic skins, including a seasonal train skin pack available on all platforms and unique skins for each console.
