Riot Games announced Riftbound: Vendetta, the fourth set for its League of Legends trading card game, arriving July 31 in English and Chinese with a French release October 23. The set centers on rivalries between enemy-color Legends, pairing characters like Shen versus Zed and Mel versus Ambessa.

Vendetta introduces three new mechanics. Flow lets players cast cards from their trash instead of their hand, mirroring League champions that quickly recover abilities. Burn sends cards from a main deck to the trash, either fueling your own synergies or attacking an opponent’s deck directly. Empower gives cards new abilities once in play, typically after paying a cost.

The set also debuts Unit-Gear, a card type counting as both unit and gear, alongside Decrees—spells designed around Domain rivalries that counter opposite-color cards. It adds new token types: Tentacle, Shadow Clone, and Empowered.

New products include Showdown Decks, two-player boxes with ready-to-play decks launching with a Shen versus Zed matchup. The lineup also features a Booster Display with art from Akali, Ambessa, and Mel, the Vault, and Pre-Rift Kits with seeded packs for each new Legend.

Vendetta represents nine new Legends with signed Overnumbered variants and includes 22 Rival Overnumbers—diptych cards celebrating legendary rivalries designed as display pairings. The set brings Crystal Rose Alt Arts, extending Wild Rift’s returning skin line into Riftbound. Pre-Rift events begin July 24.
