Reigns, developer Nerial and publisher Devolver Digital’s card-swiping monarch simulator, is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a massive free update available now on PC and mobile.
The update adds 190 new cards, new objectives, new characters, new deaths, and a secret ending to the original game. A new plot thread involves a local witch whose prophecies unfold if you survive for 10 years.
The Reigns series has reached more than 4 million players since launching in 2016, according to the publisher. The series includes sequels like Reigns: Three Kingdoms and Reigns: Beyond, as well as licensed spin-offs in the Game of Thrones and The Witcher universes.
Limited-time discounts are running across the franchise. The original Reigns is 67% off at $2.99, while Reigns: Her Majesty and Reigns: Game of Thrones are also 67% off at $2.99 and $3.99 respectively. Reigns: The Witcher is 30% off at $5.99, Reigns: Beyond is 40% off at $4.99, and Reigns: Three Kingdoms is 50% off at $2.99 (PC only).
