Quarantine Zone: The Last Check, a zombie checkpoint simulator from Brigada Games and Devolver Digital, is now out on Xbox Series X|S for $19.99 and available through Xbox Game Pass. The game arrived on PC earlier this year and supports Xbox Play Anywhere.
You manage a critical checkpoint during a zombie outbreak, screening survivors for infection while rationing resources like power, food and medicine. The game tasks you with identifying infected individuals, contraband and suspicious symptoms, then deciding whether survivors get sent to quarantine, the lab or the living block. Those who are infected can be harvested for samples that unlock new tools and upgrades.
Resource management becomes increasingly important as the survivor population grows. When infected hordes breach the perimeter, you pilot armed drones to defend the compound walls. Better management of your base unlocks additional resources, tools and weapon upgrades.
The game includes crossover content with Dead by Daylight and Dead Island franchises available from day one at no extra cost.
