Morefun Studios and Tencent announced that Roco Kingdom, a multiplayer open-world creature-collector, will launch globally on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and mobile platforms. The studio revealed the news during gamescom’s Opening Night Live on August 25. A specific release date has not been set.

A closed beta test is scheduled for October 27, 2026, with pre-registration now open. The game is free-to-play and features over 400 creatures called Jinies that players can catch, train, and battle across an open world called Carosia.

According to Morefun Studios, Roco Kingdom ranked first among all new mobile titles released in China year-to-date by both average daily active users and gross receipts. The game welcomed over 15 million players within 13 hours of its launch in China and reached an average of 13 million daily active users across PC and mobile in its first month.

The game supports cross-platform play, allowing PC, console, and mobile players to adventure together. Core features include cooperative exploration with friends, home decorating and farming, and turn-based PvP battles. The studio emphasized that PvP battles are free of pay-to-win mechanics.

Roco Kingdom builds on a 16-year legacy from the Roco Kingdom franchise, which according to the studio has attracted over 350 million registered browser-game players. This global release marks the first time the franchise is launching outside China.
