Morefun Studios and Tencent announced the global launch of Roco Kingdom during gamescom’s Opening Night Live. The free-to-play creature-collector arrives on Windows PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and mobile devices (iOS and Android), with a full release date to be announced later.

A closed beta test launches October 27, 2025, with pre-registration now open. According to the studio, the game welcomed over 15 million players within 13 hours of its launch in China and reached an average daily active user count of over 13 million across PC and mobile in its first month.

Roco Kingdom is an open-world title where players explore the continent of Carosia to catch and bond with over 400 creatures called Jinies. The game features cross-platform multiplayer, allowing PC, console, and mobile players to team up and explore together. Players can also engage in turn-based PvP battles, decorate homes, farm, and visit friends’ spaces.

The game builds on a 16-year legacy of the Roco Kingdom franchise, according to Morefun Studios, which has accumulated over 350 million registered browser-game players. This marks the first time the series is launching globally outside China.

Xiaoye, Narrative Director and Localization Lead for Roco Kingdom, said the team plans to “listen, to learn, and to keep this world growing alongside players around the globe.” The studio emphasizes the game has no pay-to-win mechanics in its PvP battles.
