Kilowatt Games and Fireshine Games have launched an open playtest for Isle Goblin on Steam. The survival adventure sandbox lets players create a custom goblin and work solo or with up to seven friends to rebuild their island village after a human invasion.

In Isle Goblin, you’ll gather resources, craft gear and weapons, grow crops, and fight human bosses to reclaim your home. The game features various biomes with unique materials for crafting, and a village populated with goblin characters that have their own routines and personalities. Players can also fish, raise pet spiders, or decorate their settlement between combat encounters.

The playtest is available now on Steam ahead of the game’s full PC launch planned for 2027. Fireshine Games is also the publisher behind Core Keeper and Denshattack!
