The program streams on Petit Planet’s official YouTube, TikTok, X and Twitch channels. According to the announcement, viewers can “join the dev team and a special guest for a first look at life on your own planet.”
Why fans expect a date
Petit Planet is HoYoverse’s first cozy life sim, and the studio has said it is launching in winter 2026. Pre-registration opened in August, and the final beta test began on September 20. A program billed as “pre-launch,” with winter only weeks away, is the natural place to announce when everyone else can play.
The game’s subreddit certainly thinks so. “WE ARE FINALLY GOING TO GET A RELEASE DATE,” reads one of the top replies to the announcement. HoYoverse has not confirmed what the program will include beyond that first look, so we will be watching on November 1 and will update with everything announced.
