NTE (Neverness to Everness) has launched Version 1.2 “999 Nights” on PC, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android. The update adds a tabletop-inspired RPG mode set on the Warren Continent, where a four-member party including new characters Shinku and Iroi battles monsters and dragons.
In the new campaign, players level up party members by defeating enemies, collecting gear and items to trade at shops. Each character has their own class. The story follows the party from Fuzzy Village through distinct regions—volcano, ice field, and lakelands—before facing the Crimson Dragon at Dragon Keep.
Two limited character banners run sequentially: “Before the Dawn” (July 8-29) features Shinku, a martial artist who builds a Defiant Spirit gauge to enter Rampage form. “The Lifeline” (July 29-Aug 19) adds Iroi, who summons lambs for attacks and opens dream gates for healing or damage.
New gameplay additions include the Draco, a vehicle that can strafe sideways and lift off the ground. Shinku has a unique “Dragonhunter” outfit variant for the bike. Two new events launch alongside the patch: Shadow-n-Seek, a hide-and-seek mode at Clement Academy where Hiders transform into objects to fool Hunters, and Going, Going, Gone, an auction house event where players bid on collectibles with companion help.
The update also adds Riichi Mahjong, Decor Blueprint, and a new Sea Angler mode. Version 1.2 follows the game’s strong day-one revenue performance since launch.
