NTE (Neverness to Everness) has released Version 1.2 “999 Nights” on Steam, Epic Games Store, Samsung Galaxy Store, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android. The update adds a tabletop-inspired RPG adventure set on the Warren Continent alongside new characters, vehicles, and gameplay modes.

The 999 Nights storyline follows a four-person party—the Appraiser, Mint, Iroi, and Shinku—as they journey from Fuzzy Village across grassy plains, volcanos, ice fields, and lakelands to reach the Dragon Keep and face the Crimson Dragon. Players gain experience from battles to level up characters and equip gear found from defeated monsters.

New characters and limited banners

Two limited S-class characters are available through sequential Limited Boards. Shinku’s “Before the Dawn” banner runs July 8–29, while Iroi’s “The Lifeline” banner follows from July 29–August 19. Shinku performs martial arts attacks that build toward a Rampage form, while Iroi summons lambs and opens dream gates for healing or damage depending on her charge level.

A new vehicle called the Draco also launches with the update. The motorcycle can strafe sideways and lift its frame off the ground, and Shinku can ride it while wearing her “Dragonhunter” outfit.

New modes

Shadow-n-Seek is a hide-and-seek mode where Hiders transform into random campus objects while Hunters use scan skills to find them. The mode ends when all Hiders are defeated or all Hunters are eliminated.

Going, Going, Gone is an auction house mode where players compete to win collectibles with help from character companions who provide clues about timing bids.

The update also adds Riichi Mahjong, Decor Blueprint, and a new Sea Angler mode, among other features.
