Tetrarchy Studios has launched a playable demo for Mandated Fate on Steam. The demo was announced during Steam Cyberpunk Fest and gives players their first chance to experience the narrative-driven detective thriller set in an alternate 1985.
The demo offers 30 to 60 minutes of gameplay in the opening chapter. Players step into the role of an Imperial Inspector investigating a murder that becomes entangled in political conspiracy. The game features investigation, interrogation, and choice-driven storytelling that can influence how the case unfolds.
According to the studio, the demo lets players explore a retro-futuristic city, question suspects, gather clues, and make meaningful decisions that affect the investigation. The game supports both first- and third-person perspectives.
Mandated Fate is designed for players who want investigation and decision-making to be central to the experience. A full release date has not been announced. The demo is available now on Steam.
