Last Epoch Season 5 ‘Rage of the Frostborn’ is out now on Steam. The update introduces Rage of Morditas, a wave-based seasonal activity where players activate Blood Crystals, fight off enemy waves, and earn rewards shaped by resources and rituals they acquire.
The season adds a new pinnacle boss called Pinnacle Morditas alongside three new skills and new Unique and Set items for character builds. Players can use the rituals and resources they gather to customize reward types and quality around their playstyle.
Co-founder Mike Weicker has been appointed Game Director of Last Epoch. Weicker has worked on the action RPG for more than nine years since its early development in 2017 and will lead future development and live operations.
“I will continue to build on the core gameplay experience and development philosophy that has shaped Last Epoch, while listening closely to our players and looking for new opportunities to improve the game,” Weicker said.
