LAG KILLS, a first-person survival horror game from Deranged Games, arrives on Steam during the Cat Awareness Feline Sale from August 7-17, 2026. The studio has released a new trailer for the event.

The game casts players as burglars breaking into a house to steal valuables while avoiding a murderous homeowner. You’ll need to search quietly, stay hidden, and find an exit before getting caught. There’s one more complication: keeping the house’s cat happy to avoid drawing extra attention.

LAG KILLS supports both single-player and online co-op gameplay. Players can attempt heists alone or with a friend, searching for loot, hiding from the unpredictable owner, and improvising when plans fall apart. The trailer shows features including the ability to steal the cat and dress it in hats that appear in your lobby.

LAG KILLS is planned to release on Steam in Q4 2026. Players can wishlist the game now.
