Concrete Burial, a first-person horror adventure from Brazilian developer Games From the Abyss, is out now on Steam for $3.99 USD. A 20% launch discount is available through the launch period.
Players take on the role of a Knight of the Crimson Clan exploring an ancient crypt to collect four artifacts of desire. Armed with a sword and a blood-powered pistol, you must overcome brutal trials and eventually confront God to obtain your wish. The pistol uses your own blood as ammunition.
Concrete Burial draws inspiration from brutalist sculpture and games like Control and the Brutalist Quake Mod. The developer says the game features dark catacombs holding ancient, holy secrets in a savage underground environment.
This is the third entry in DreadXP’s XP ULTRA series, a collection of smaller experimental titles. Games From the Abyss previously developed The Lacerator and Death Elevator.
