Relic Entertainment has announced Company of Heroes 3: Final Stand, a standalone wave defense game launching July 29 on PC for $29.99. The roguelite experience does not require ownership of previous Company of Heroes titles.
Players command one of four factions—US Forces, Wehrmacht, British Forces, or Deutsches Afrikakorps—each with unique abilities and progression paths. The core loop involves surviving 12 escalating waves of enemies across five battlegrounds, with an Endless Mode option for additional challenge. Boss encounters and dynamic in-game events punctuate each run.
Final Stand supports single-player and cooperative gameplay across eight difficulty levels. The roguelite system offers persistent upgrades and faction-specific progression trees that change strategic options with each playthrough. The game includes 36 boss units, 18 dynamic events, and cosmetic skin packs for each faction.
A 10% launch period discount applies to all players. Company of Heroes 3 owners receive an additional 20% bundle discount. The announcement coincides with the franchise’s 20th anniversary and precedes the planned release of Company of Heroes – Definitive Edition.
