Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis will take most players 14 to 16 hours, and the team that built it would rather you took longer. Crystal Dynamics experience director Jeff Adams gave the first length estimate for the 1996 reimagining in an interview with MP1st: “I’m comfortable saying we’re somewhere in that 14-to-16-hour range of play, depending on your play style.” Finding every secret pushes it past that.
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis Length Around 14-16 Hours; Devs Said They’ve “Intentionally” Built a World That’ll Make Players “Curious to Explore”

“Don’t feel rushed”: the world is built to slow you down
Adams framed the number as a floor rather than a target. “What I also like to tell everyone when we talk about this is not to feel rushed,” he said. “We’ve intentionally built a world that’s meant to draw you in and make you curious to explore, so you don’t have to put a timer on yourself.” His advice is to “take in the immersive ambience the audio team has created” and “let that feeling of isolation wash over you,” which he called “part of what makes Tomb Raider so special.” He also acknowledged the spoiler problem for a game people have waited decades for: “all I can recommend is maybe turning off social media for a while and letting yourself enjoy the game. You’ll be rewarded for it.”
What 14 to 16 hours covers
Legacy of Atlantis retraces the route of the original 1996 game, from the jungles of Peru through the ruins of Greece to the tombs of Egypt and on to Atlantis, rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5 with modern traversal and combat. Earlier interviews have described a design that lets players choose how much guidance they get, so a run that ignores the hints and hunts every secret will sit at the top of that range or above it, while a guided run lands nearer 14.
