Neon Giant’s The Ascent Ultimate Edition is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on December 2, the studio announced during Nintendo Direct. The release includes the base game and all three DLC packs—Cyber Heist, CyberSec Pack, and Cyber Warrior Pack—for $29.99.
Pre-orders open on Nintendo eShop on October 5 with a 10% discount, bringing the price down to $26.99 through launch day. The Switch 2 version will support 10 languages including English, Korean, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, and Simplified Chinese.
Before the Switch 2 launch, Neon Giant will roll out a Legacy Patch to PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation versions on November 19. The patch includes localization improvements and bug fixes, with those same improvements incorporated into the Switch 2 version at launch.
According to the studio, The Ascent has reached more than 12 million players since its 2021 debut. The game is a solo or four-player co-op action-shooter RPG set in a densely populated cyberpunk world.
