There’s something magnetic about a perfectly executed dungeon run. The coordinated cooldowns, the frantic call-outs, that final sliver of health left on the boss before the whole group cheers in disbelief. World of Warcraft’s Mythic + system captured that thrill years ago, and Fellowship, a new “multiplayer online dungeon adventure” from Chief Rebel and Arc Games, looks ready to build an entire game around it.
Launching October 16 in Early Access on Steam, Fellowship is the debut title from Chief Rebel, a studio of veterans whose résumés include World of Warcraft, Diablo IV, Helldivers 2, and Battlefield. Rather than another MMO that buries excitement behind grind and story gates, Fellowship cuts straight to what dungeon fans love: teamwork, mechanics, and loot. It’s the Mythic + loop distilled into a full-time lifestyle.
At its heart, Fellowship is all about endless scaling and team synergy. Groups of four dive into procedurally adjusted dungeons that grow harder the further they go, mirroring the key-stone-like structure of WoW’s Mythic + tiers. Tanks, healers, and DPS classes must constantly adapt to new modifiers and boss mechanics that evolve with difficulty. Every victory earns better loot; every wipe makes the next clear that much sweeter.
What sets Fellowship apart is how it removes the grind before the good stuff. There’s no leveling slog or raid-unlock ladder, and players jump straight into endgame-level dungeon content from the first minute. Casual adventurers can queue for 10- to 15-minute Quick Play runs, while hardcore groups can test themselves in Challenge Dungeons with competitive leaderboards and mutating affixes that feel right out of Mythic +’s playbook.

To celebrate the Early Access launch, Fellowship will be 10 percent off its $24.99 USD price from October 16 to 23. A Supporter Edition packed with three exclusive armor-skin and mount sets will also be available, likewise discounted during launch week. Starting day one, Fellowship will feature Twitch Drops, rewarding viewers who tune in to Fellowship launch streams.
Chief Rebel plans to keep Fellowship in Early Access for roughly six months, focusing on player feedback, balancing, and quality-of-life improvements before rolling out a detailed roadmap. Cosmetic items will arrive later but remain purely optional with no pay-to-win offerings.
For players who crave that Mythic + tension without the MMO overhead, Fellowship looks like the dream made real. It’s all dungeons, all the time, designed by people who clearly know why a well-timed interrupt or a clutch heal can make an entire night worth it. I had a chance to get a hands-on look at the newest announced character, Elarion, an agility-based bow user. I had an absolute blast and will be posting my full impressions on the class later today!
