Dominus Gladiatus launches on November 5, 2026, for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch, according to publisher Brain Seal Ltd and PlayWay S.A. The game is priced at $19.99 USD and supports 16 languages. A free demo is already available on Steam.
The game combines gladiator school management with tactical auto-battler combat. Players run their own Ludus, hiring staff, expanding facilities, recruiting fighters and training inexperienced recruits into champions. The publisher says morale, injuries and fatigue need careful handling, since pushing fighters too hard can cost a player their best gladiator.
Battles are fought through tactical auto-battler duels and team battles. According to the publisher, equipment choices, skills and formations all affect the outcome, and the crowd’s favor can influence whether a gladiator survives. Each playable Dominus competes for the championship of Rome, and the rival Domini are controlled by the game’s AI schools, each building its own fighters.
The announcement was made by Brain Seal Ltd, a UK studio founded in 2007 by Argi Baltzi, and PlayWay S.A., a Polish publisher and distributor. Critical Hit PR is handling press requests, with a press kit and review keys available on request.
