Hooded Horse has released Beyond These Stars, a cosmic sci-fi city builder, out now with its 1.0 launch. According to the publisher, the game surpassed 250,000 wishlists in the lead-up to release.
The game puts players in charge of a roving settlement on the back of a colossal space whale. Players rebuild civilization in the void, unlocking advanced technologies and managing production chains as their settlers adapt to life in space.
Other systems include trading with alien lifeforms, establishing outposts on planets, and terraforming ecosystems to support a city that is stranded in the blackness of space.
