30-Second Quick-Start (TL;DR)#
- Complete Chapter 1–5 normally, collecting easy phone and email achievements as you go.
- At Chapters 6, 7, 8, and 9, save before each D-Mail choice, refuse the email to unlock character endings (Suzuha, Faris, Lukako, Moeka), then reload and send it to progress.
- Reach Mayuri’s ending by sending all D-Mails through Chapter 10.
- Reload to Chapter 4 and reply to Kurisu’s emails with specific answers to collect six true ending flags (detailed in the walkthrough below).
- With five flags, you unlock Kurisu’s ending; with all six, you unlock the true ending and secret post-credits scene.
- After all endings, farm the three remaining achievements: ignore calls, ignore emails, and collect all Gero Froggy wallpapers and RaiNet episode summaries.

What This Guide Helps You Do#
This guide walks you through earning 100% completion in Steins;Gate Re:Boot by obtaining all six endings and all achievements in the most efficient order. You’ll unlock Suzuha’s, Faris’s, Lukako’s, Moeka’s, Mayuri’s, Kurisu’s, and the true ending, plus every achievement tied to them. It’s designed for players who want to experience the full story and unlock every piece of content without getting locked out of endings or wasting time on trial-and-error email replies.
Requirements & Prep#
Steins;Gate Re:Boot is a visual novel, so there are no equipment or stat requirements. You’ll need to make multiple saves at specific points—especially before D-Mail choices at the end of Chapters 6, 7, 8, and 9, and before major email decisions in the Kurisu flag sections. The game autosaves between chapters, but manual saves are essential to avoid replaying entire chapters. No controller or keyboard setup matters; this is a reading and clicking game.
Optional but Helpful: Keep a separate document or use the achievement tracker mentioned in the transcript (available at kirikiribasara.com) to mark off achievements as you unlock them. This prevents accidentally missing an easy email reply or phone call in later playthroughs.

Route Overview#
Steins;Gate Re:Boot’s 100% completion flow is structured around branching choices that lock you into specific endings. Your first playthrough takes you through Chapters 1–10 linearly, but you’ll make four key stops to unlock character endings before progressing. At the end of Chapter 6, you can refuse the D-Mail to see Suzuha’s ending; at Chapter 7, Faris’s; at Chapter 8, Lukako’s; and at Chapter 9, Moeka’s. If you send every D-Mail, you reach Mayuri’s ending by Chapter 10. After all four character endings plus Mayuri’s ending are unlocked, you’ll reload to Chapter 4 and follow a series of specific email replies to Kurisu to collect six true ending flags. With five flags, you unlock Kurisu’s ending; with all six, you unlock the true ending and a secret post-credits scene. The final phase involves farming three remaining achievements by ignoring calls, ignoring emails, and collecting all Gero Froggy wallpapers and RaiNet episode summaries.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough#
Prologue#
Just complete the prologue to earn the “Prologue of the Beginning and the End” achievement. No choices or actions are required; just read through the opening.
Chapter 1: Phone Achievements and Early Emails#
Once Chapter 1 starts, open Okabe’s phone and interact with it to unlock four quick achievements. First, view your sent emails to earn “Memories of the Self”. Then view your received emails for “Memories of Another”. Go to phone settings, change the wallpaper to earn “Vision Projection”, and change the ringtone for calls to earn “First Sound”. These four are free points and take less than a minute.
When you reach the section where you set the timer on the PhoneWave, you can earn “Homerun-level Clumsiness” by typing the wrong number into the phone ten times. Type any numbers you want; once the achievement pops, enter 120# to proceed correctly.
When Mayuri emails you with the subject “Upa,” reply with “Upa.” to earn “Resonant Reaction”. When she replies, open the attachment in her email to get “RaiNet’s Mascot”.
Faris will email you with the subject “The decisive battle is close at hand nya.” Reply with “Red Southern Cross,” then open the attachment in her reply. This is the first step toward “Princesses of Chaos”; you’ll complete it later in Chapter 5.
Chapter 2: Lukako’s Family Chain and Call Decisions#
Lukako will send you an email titled “I made sweets.” Reply with “Family” to start a chain. Later, if you pick up a call from Mayuri on 8/01 at 14:29, you’ll receive an email titled “About my family members.” Reply with “My sister”. After that, Lukako sends “About my sister,” and reading it earns “Cruel Sister”.
During this chapter, you’ll receive calls from Mayuri and Kurisu. You can ignore one of them to earn “Identity of Complete Isolation”. You can make a save, ignore the call, grab the achievement, then reload to pick it up if you want the scene. Picking up Mayuri’s call gives you an extra scene with her and Faris; picking up Kurisu’s call has her join you at Yanabashi Shrine.
Chapter 3: Daru’s Call and Froggy Fad Setup#
There aren’t any mandatory achievements in Chapter 3 for this route, but if you’re going for “Froggy Fad Demise” later, the first email is here. Daru will call you; answer to see a scene with him and Mayuri, or ignore it for a scene with Kurisu. Completing the chapter earns “Butterfly Effect’s Divergence”.
Chapter 4: Suzuha, Kurisu, and Faris Email Chains#
Suzuha emails you with the subject “Akihabara’s.” Reply with “peaceful” to start a chain. When she replies, reading her email earns “Warrior Girl’s Pride”.
Kurisu sends an email titled “Did you write it?” Reply with “Report”. She replies with “Please?”—respond with “Cup noodles”. Finally, she sends “Favor to ask.” Reading it earns “Discontinuous Qualia”.
Faris sends “Sign of increasing misfortune.” Reply with “He”. She replies with “About abilities”—respond with “NyanNyanian”. Her next reply is “Cat tongue nya.” Reading it earns “Cat’s Tea Time”.
Chapter 5: Mayuri’s Dual Endings and Faris Call#
At the start of Chapter 5, Faris calls. Picking up gives an extra scene with her; ignoring it gives an extra scene with Mayuri.
Mayuri emails you with the subject “What made me happy today.” Make a save here. Reply with “cosplay”. She replies with “The reason,” and reading this email earns “Passions Best Forgotten”. Load your save and reply to her first email with “Fubuki-chan and Kaede-chan” instead. She replies with “Huh?” and reading this earns “Princesses of Chaos” (the second and final step).
Chapter 6: First Character Ending (Suzuha)#
At the start of Chapter 6, you can call Mayuri for an extra scene. Later, you’ve options to call Mayuri or Lukako, and another option to call Kurisu, Mayuri, or Daru—each gives an extra scene with that character. If you do nothing on the last call, you get a scene with Suzuha instead.
At the end of Chapter 6, you receive a D-Mail option. Make a save. Do nothing (refuse to send the D-Mail) to reach Suzuha’s ending and earn “Irreversible Reboot”. Load your save and send the D-Mail to progress. Completing the chapter earns “Metaphysics Necrosis”.
Chapter 7: Second Character Ending (Faris)#
Kurisu will call you. Answer to get a scene with her; ignore it to get a scene with Faris instead.
At the end of Chapter 7, you’ve another D-Mail choice. Make a save. Do not send the D-Mail to reach Faris’s ending and earn “Isolated Jamais Vu”. Load your save and send the D-Mail to continue. Finishing the chapter earns “Made in Complex”.
Chapter 8: Third Character Ending (Lukako)#
Chapter 8 has only one decision: at the end, you can call the PhoneWave or do nothing. Make a save. Choose not to call it to reach Lukako’s ending and earn “Link of Corruption and Rebirth”. Load your save and call the PhoneWave to proceed. Completing the chapter earns “Fractal Androgynous”.
Chapter 9: Fourth Character Ending (Moeka)#
In Chapter 9, you can call the PhoneWave or do nothing for an extra scene. If you do nothing, Kurisu calls you—answer for another extra scene. Later, Kurisu calls again; ignore it to get an extra scene with Moeka.
At the end of Chapter 9, you’ve a D-Mail choice. Make a save. Do nothing to reach Moeka’s ending and earn “Hide in Darkness”. Load your save and send the D-Mail to progress. Finishing the chapter earns “Endless Apoptosis”.
Chapter 10: Mayuri’s Ending#
If you’ve sent every D-Mail through Chapters 6–9, you’ll reach Mayuri’s ending in Chapter 10. Completing it earns “Stardust Sky”.
Unlocking Kurisu’s Ending and the True Ending#
Now you need to collect six true ending flags by replying correctly to Kurisu’s emails. Flags 1–5 unlock Kurisu’s ending; all six unlock the true ending. Reload to the start of Chapter 4.
Flag 1 (Chapter 4)
Kurisu emails you with the subject “Did you write it?” This time, reply with “Scientist” (not “Report”). She replies with “Scientist??”—respond with “Bad scientist”. She sends “Bad scientist.”—reply with “Dad joke”. She sends “Home Alone.”—reply with “Outsider”. She sends “Ehhh?”—reply with “Disgrace”. Finally, she sends “Staring at my hand.”—reply with “Why am I still here?” After this chain, she sends “Being here.” Simply read this email to unlock Flag 1 and earn “Genius Girl’s Melancholy”. All other true ending flag emails from Kurisu will only appear if you’ve Flag 1.
Flag 2 (Chapter 5)
Kurisu emails you with the subject “Plans.” Reply with “Traveling expenses”. She replies with “Idiot!”—just read it. After some time, she sends another email with an emotikon in the subject. Reading this email unlocks Flag 2.
Flag 3 (Chapter 7)
Kurisu emails you with the subject “The key.” Reply with “I don’t have a key”. She replies with an email with an emotikon in the subject—respond with “Security”. She sends “You’re delusional, I know.”—reply with “Reality”. She sends another email titled “Reality.” Reading this email unlocks Flag 3.
Flag 4 (Chapter 8)
Kurisu emails you with the subject “Explain yourself!” There’s only one reply option available; select it. She later sends “From an unpopular girl.” Reading this email unlocks Flag 4.
Flag 5 (Chapter 9)
Kurisu emails you with the subject “Contact me, idiot!” Reply with “Worried”. She replies with “Re: Re: Contact me, idiot!” Reading this email unlocks Flag 5. You now have all five flags needed for Kurisu’s ending.
Kurisu’s Ending (Chapter 10)
Proceed to Chapter 10 with five flags. In the middle of the chapter, Kurisu emails you with the subject “Where are you now?” Make a save. Ignore this email to reach Kurisu’s ending and earn “Paradox Meltdown”. After the ending completes, load your save.
Flag 6 and the True Ending (Chapter 10)
Load your save at the “Where are you now?” email. This time, reply with “Where you’re” to unlock Flag 6. You now have all six flags, which routes you to the true ending instead. Chapter 10 plays out the same way, and the credits will roll—but don’t close the game. The game continues after the credits with the true ending sequence. Completing the true ending earns “Open the Steins Gate”. If you’ve completed all previous endings (Suzuha, Faris, Lukako, Moeka, Mayuri, and Kurisu), you also earn “All Worldlines Complete”.
After the true ending credits, there’s a black screen. If you’ve finished all other endings, wait on this screen for about one minute to see a secret post-credits scene.
Achievement Cleanup: Final Three Achievements#
Identity of Complete Isolation
If you missed this earlier, just ignore any phone call during the game. Chapter 2 and Chapter 7 have multiple calls you can ignore. Make a save, ignore a call, and the achievement will pop.
Message of Oblivion
This achievement requires you to ignore emails and then either finish the chapter or change the worldline so those emails are never read. The easiest method is to load a save from Chapter 6 or later, ignore all emails received, and skip to the end of the chapter. The achievement will unlock when you finish or advance.
Froggy Fad Demise
You need to collect all Gero Froggy wallpapers from three batches across the game. The first batch is in Chapter 3. Lukako emails you with the subject “About Frogs.” Reply with “Gero Froggies”. She replies with “More news about the frogs.” Open the attachment and view all wallpapers.
The second and third batches are both in Chapter 7 and require your first and second true ending flags. Reload to the Chapter 7 save where you’ve those flags. Kurisu emails you with the subject “The key.” Make a save. Reply with “I don’t have a key”. She replies with an email with an emotikon in the subject—respond with “Frog”. She sends “Gero Froggy.” Open the attachments and view all wallpapers (second batch).
Load your save at the “The key” email. This time reply with “Home”. She replies with “Home.”—respond with “Hyahha”. She sends an email with a dot in the subject—reply with “I’m gonna give it to you straight”. She sends “Blazing Heart.” Open the attachment and view the remaining wallpapers (third batch). Completing all three batches earns “Froggy Fad Demise”.
Hero of RaiNet
You need to collect all 13 episode summaries of the fictional anime RaiNet from five emails across several chapters.
Chapter 1: Mayuri emails you with the subject “Upa.” Reply with “Upa” and then reply with “Kakeru-kun”. She sends “It’s interesting.” Open the attachments to get the first batch of summaries.
Chapter 3: Faris emails you with the subject “PHANTASM is the cat’s meow.” Reply with “Theme Song”. She replies with “RaiNet OP 2.”—respond with “RaiNet Kakeru”. She sends “RaiNet Ep. 13.” Open the attachment and read all pages.
Chapter 4: Mayuri emails you with the subject “Speaking of lotteries.” Reply with “Magazine”. She replies with “Going out? Lelele.”—respond with “Crunchy-kun”. She sends “About Luka-chan.”—reply with “Kakeru-kun”. She sends “Kakeru-kun” with an attachment. Open it and read all summaries.
Also in Chapter 4, Lukako emails you with the subject “About RaiNet” and includes an attachment with episode summaries. Open it and read through.
Chapter 4 (continued): Faris emails you with the subject “Sign of increasing misfortune.” Reply with “He”. She replies with “About abilities.”—respond with “Chinchilla Start”. She sends “Re:Re:Ep. 8.”—reply with “Ep 8”. She sends “About Ep 8.” Open the attachment and read all pages. Collecting all 13 summaries earns “Hero of RaiNet”.
Completing all remaining achievements unlocks “Skyclad Observer” for 100% completion.
Troubleshooting & Common Mistakes#
- Locked out of a true ending flag email: True ending flag emails from Kurisu only appear if you’ve Flag 1. If you didn’t complete the Flag 1 email chain in Chapter 4 with the “Scientist” reply path, reload to Chapter 4 and redo it. All other flags depend on Flag 1 existing.
- Missed an easy achievement in early chapters: The phone achievements (Memories of the Self, Memories of Another, Vision Projection, First Sound) and the Homerun-level Clumsiness achievement are only available during Chapter 1. If you skipped them, you must reload to Chapter 1 and complete them.
- Sent a D-Mail by accident and locked out a character ending: Always make a save before choosing to send or refuse a D-Mail at the end of Chapters 6, 7, 8, and 9. If you accidentally sent it, reload your save and refuse it instead to unlock the character ending.
- Missed an email reply and broke an achievement chain: If you miss a single reply in a chain (like Lukako’s family emails or Kurisu’s true ending flag chains), reload to that chapter and redo the entire chain from the start. The game tracks the full chain, not individual replies.
- Ignored an email for “Message of Oblivion” but didn’t get the achievement: Simply ignoring an email isn’t enough. You must ignore it and then finish the chapter or change the worldline so that email is never read. The easiest method is to load Chapter 6 or later, ignore all emails, and finish the chapter.
- Can’t find a specific call to ignore for “Identity of Complete Isolation”: Chapter 2 has two calls you can ignore (Mayuri and Kurisu), and Chapter 7 has at least two more. Load a save from one of these chapters, ignore any incoming call, and the achievement will unlock immediately.
- Post-credits scene didn’t trigger after true ending: Make sure you’ve completed all six endings (Suzuha, Faris, Lukako, Moeka, Mayuri, and Kurisu) before attempting the true ending. The secret post-credits scene only appears if you’ve done every ending first. After the true ending credits roll, wait on the black screen for about one minute without skipping.
- Achievement tracker says I’m missing RaiNet summaries but I opened all attachments: You must read through all pages of each attachment. Simply opening an attachment doesn’t count; you need to view each page to register the summaries. Go back through each RaiNet email and confirm you’ve scrolled through every page of every attachment.

FAQ#
Do I have to complete all character endings before unlocking Kurisu’s ending?#
No. You can unlock Kurisu’s ending at any point after you’ve collected five true ending flags, which requires reloading to Chapter 4 and following the specific Kurisu email reply paths. However, if you want to unlock the true ending (which requires all six flags) and the final “All Worldlines Complete” achievement, you must complete all six endings: Suzuha, Faris, Lukako, Moeka, Mayuri, and Kurisu. The order doesn’t matter, but you need to see each one before the game will let you access the true ending.
What happens if I send a D-Mail when I’m supposed to refuse it?#
If you send a D-Mail at the end of Chapter 6, 7, 8, or 9 when you intended to refuse it and unlock a character ending, you’ll progress to the next chapter instead of seeing that ending. You won’t lose progress, but you’ll need to reload your save (which is why saving before every D-Mail choice is critical) and refuse it the second time to unlock the character ending achievement.
Can I unlock all achievements in one playthrough?#
No. Steins;Gate Re:Boot requires you to make mutually exclusive choices (like refusing or sending D-Mails, or replying with different answers to the same email). You’ll need multiple playthroughs to see all endings and unlock all achievements. The guide above is designed to minimize the total number of playthroughs by grouping achievements efficiently.
Where do I find the written version of this guide with the achievement tracker?#
The transcript mentions that a written version with an achievement tracker is available at kirikiribasara.com. You can also scan the QR code shown in the video to access it. The tracker allows you to mark off achievements as you unlock them and keep track of your overall 100% completion progress.
Do I need to answer every email, or can I ignore some?#
For most emails, you need to reply correctly to progress achievement chains or unlock true ending flags. However, some emails (like Kurisu’s final email in Chapter 8 titled “Explain yourself!”) have only one reply option, so there’s no choice to make. The guide specifies which emails require replies and which ones just need to be read. If an email is part of an achievement chain (like the Kurisu true ending flags), you must reply with the exact answer listed or the chain breaks and you won’t unlock the flag.
What’s the difference between Kurisu’s ending and the true ending?#
Kurisu’s ending is unlocked when you’ve five true ending flags and ignore the final email from Kurisu in Chapter 10. The true ending is unlocked when you’ve all six true ending flags and reply to that same email. The story plays out identically until after the credits roll. The true ending continues with additional content after the credits, including a secret post-credits scene that only appears if you’ve completed all six endings first.
