Until North Ends, a multiplayer survival crafting adventure from solo developer Unknown Hex, has officially launched in Early Access on Steam.

The game features procedurally generated worlds with caves, dungeons, meadows, and waters to explore. Players can tackle the experience solo or with friends, choosing between settling down to build a safe haven or living as a nomad focused on loot and exploration. Combat offers multiple approaches: melee with heavy armor, ranged with a bow, or harness chain lightning attacks.

Until North Ends uses a stylized low-poly top-down perspective inspired by classic adventures. Character customization lets players adjust hair color, tattoos, and appearance. The survival loop involves crafting equipment, refining ores, combining materials, extracting plants on an alchemy table, and curing leather to access rare materials needed for progression.

The game is available now on Steam in Early Access. Unknown Hex notes this is their debut title, and the studio is listening to community feedback during development.
