Aesir Interactive has launched EverRail into Early Access on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store for $14.99. The open-world survival crafting game tasks players with keeping humanity’s last refuge—a battery-powered train—moving across the frozen Exomoon Inara.

The Early Access release adds first-person gameplay as the default option alongside third-person, expanded exploration areas, new weapons including Assault Rifles and Shotguns, and a combat overhaul. Players can tackle the game solo or in up to 4-player co-op.

Survival mechanics have been overhauled for Early Access, introducing hunger, stamina and cold systems that affect expeditions into the wilderness. Passengers now consume shared ration supplies, raising the stakes for food production and resource management. New consumables, crafting recipes and exosuit upgrades provide additional survival tools.

Train customization has expanded significantly. Players can now build vertically inside their train for the first time using new floor plates, lifts and stairs. New buildings include a Glider Fabricator, a Salvager for recycling equipment, and specialized storage for materials and food.

The Early Access version reflects months of community playtesting across multiple public demos. Aesir Interactive says player feedback has shaped improvements to combat, exploration, progression and quality-of-life systems.

A 10% launch discount runs for the first two weeks. A Supporter Edition is available for $19.99 and includes the base game plus a second Train, second Glider, and exclusive cosmetics. A free demo is available on Steam.
