Burgee Media has shown a first look at the Bard, a new class coming to Erenshor, the single-player RPG inspired by classic MMORPGs. The studio says the class is due in October 2026. Erenshor has been in Early Access since April 14, 2025.

The Bard is built around music-based support abilities. Players compose songs by combining individual notes and chords. According to the studio, notes affect a single target, while chords can influence an entire group, whether that is the player’s party or several enemies nearby. The studio says this lets players adjust their builds to the situation they face.

Songs are also shaped by a Harmony and Dissonance mechanic, which the studio says affects the offensive and defensive power of the Bard’s spells. Charisma determines how long songs are remembered and how strong their damage or healing is. Resonance can grant a brief chance to play an additional solo chord or note at no mana cost.

Erenshor casts players into a sprawling open world alongside SimPlayers, virtual adventurers who progress independently, form groups, join guilds and pursue their own goals. The game includes quests, dungeons, rare treasures and secrets to find.
