Cult of the Lamb is now out on Nintendo Switch 2, priced at $24.99. The publisher, Devolver Digital, and developer Massive Monster say the version adds improved frame rates, enhanced resolution and GameShare support.

Players who already own the original Switch version can upgrade to the Switch 2 release for free, whether they bought the physical or digital edition. According to the publisher, all existing DLC is compatible across both Switch versions.

The game has you start your own cult in a land of false prophets. You build a community of woodland worshippers, collect resources to construct new structures, and perform rituals to appease the gods. Combat takes place across a randomly generated world, where you fight off enemies and defeat rival cult leaders to absorb their power.

Cult of the Lamb is also available on Xbox, PlayStation, PC and Apple devices. Apple players can now play the Woolhaven expansion, the publisher said. The publisher describes the game as having sold more than 7 million copies, a figure it gives without independent verification.
