Bad House, a dungeon-crawling auto-battler from solo developer Andrew Morrish and publisher The Arcade Crew, is launching on PC next year. The game sends players into an ever-changing basement filled with monsters, where combat plays out automatically based on the skills and items you’ve placed strategically around the room.
You’ll choose a character and set your skills before descending. Combat happens automatically, with your selected abilities working alongside items like bombs, spells, traps, and summons to fight enemies. As you progress floor by floor, you level up and unlock new skills.
The game features roguelike progression: you can push deeper into the basement for better rewards, or extract early and bank your loot safely on the main floor. Every run is a gamble between risk and reward. The basement itself constantly changes, with secrets hidden throughout the descent.
Morrish previously developed Kingsway, and The Arcade Crew has published games like Abyssus and Drop Duchy.
