Vertigo Games has announced that Arizona Sunshine will launch on January 21, 2027, for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. The standard edition is priced at $24.99, according to the publisher, with a Deluxe Edition at $29.99. The publisher notes that prices and pre-order offers may vary by country.
The game follows Sunny, a survivor, and his dog Buddy on a zombie-filled road trip across the Arizona desert. According to the publisher, it brings the series’ action to a third-person perspective and supports solo play, two-player online co-op and local split-screen. Players can also take control of Buddy in multiplayer.
Pre-orders are open on Steam, the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Buyers on Steam, Epic or PS5 get 20% off, and pre-orders on all platforms include the Desert Raiders Pack with exclusive Sunny and Buddy skins. Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders will open at a later date.
Deluxe Edition and the Legacy pack
The Deluxe Edition includes the base game, the Arizona Sunshine Legacy DLC Pack, and 48-hour early access for pre-orders. According to the publisher, the Legacy pack contains the original Legacy campaign, the Dead Man and The Damned DLC, the Neon Wastelander Pack and Fred’s Fashion Pack. The Legacy pack will be released at a later date.
The publisher describes this as the franchise’s first release on consoles without VR headsets. The earlier VR titles, Arizona Sunshine VR Remake and Arizona Sunshine VR 2, remain available on PC VR, PlayStation VR2 and Meta Quest.
